What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program run by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices like a laptop or tablet.
You are likely eligible if your household’s income is below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line, or if you or someone you live with currently receives a government benefit like SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, WIC, Pell Grant, or Free and Reduced-Price Lunch.
Frequently asked questions
To qualify, a member of your household must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Medicaid
- SNAP
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit
- Tribal Programs for Residents for Qualifying Tribal Lands
- Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision, or did so in the 2019-2020 school year
- Experienced a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020, and the household had a total income in 2020 below $99,000 for single filers and $198,000 for joint filers
- Received a federal Pell Grant in the current award year
In order to confirm your eligibility for ACC, we will have to share certain qualifying information about you with the Federal Government.
You must qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACC) program in order to participate in the Frontier Essentials Internet Program.
•You must be certified by the FCC National Verifier prior to eligibility of the Frontier Essentials Internet offer.
•Frontier must receive the enrollment acknowledgment acceptance.
At the end of the temporary ACC program, the Eccelerate Internet offer will be billed at the regular price.
